Music Festival | The Packing List #2

This is the second part of my packing list for a music festival and it's all about beauty products and hygiene.
If you haven't seen the first part click here :)

Beauty and hygiene products are quite important for a music festival because you have to be prepared for any situation. Let me know what you would take to a festival in the comments down below xx

1. Toothbrush and toothpaste
Brushing your teeth is important and makes you feel so much better and fresher. I recommend taking sample sized products so you can fit them in your bag very easily.

2. Shampoo and towel
Just in case you get the chance to take a shower. Towels can be used for so many things as well so it's handy to have one with you.

3. Deodorant
Since you'll be outside, dancing and moving a lot and might not get the chance to take a shower you still want to smell good so deodorant is the perfect option.

4. Toilet paper and/or tissues
There is no toilet paper on the toilets at a festival so you should definitely take your own with you. Tissues are perfectly fine as well since you can put them in your bag because they are smaller than toilet paper.

5. Sunscreen
Sunscreen is probably one of the most important products to take with you. If you're going to be in the sun all day you want to make sure that you won't get a sunburn! Again, take a sample sized sunscreen with you so you can take it to the festival area and put some on every now and then.

6. Sanitizer
I'm definitely going to take a hand sanitizer an a spray with me. There are probably going to be so many germs and I really don't want to get ill. There might be some gross situations as well so a sanitizer can be quite handy.

7. Baby wipes and face wipes
You can use baby wipes for literally everything! You can wash yourself with them and they will keep you fresh. You can also use them to clean something. Face wipes are totally allowed at a festival since you won't get the chance to properly wash your face all the time.

8. Dry shampoo
Dry shampoo is a must-have for every festival.
The last thing you want is greasy hair so dry shampoo is perfect for preventing that. It also gives a little bit of texture to your hair so you can style it better.

9. Makeup
I'm not going to take too much makeup with me but here's what I probably will pack:
- Foundation (Maybelline Fit Me Foundation)
- Powder (Also from the Maybelline Fit Me line)
- Concealer (Also from Maybelline)
- Bronzer
- Blush
- Highlighter
- Mascara (waterproof)
- Eyeliner (also waterproof)
- Eyeshadow
- Eyebrow pencil
- Lipstick
- Chapstick/Lip balm

And that is my toiletries packing list :)

What would you take to a music festival?
What is your favourite festival makeup look?

Walk With Me #4 | Steinhuder Meer

Today, me and my family went to the Steinhuder Meer (Lake Steinhude) because it's quite close to where we live and we haven't been there in ages. I just love being by the water and it was so nice and sunny as well. They have such cute pedal boats that you can rent and so many nice cafes and restaurants. It seriously is one of my favourite places to go :)

Music Festival | The Packing List #1

Festival season has started and I'm going to attend my second festival ever on the 19th of June.
I have been to Hurricane Festival in 2012 and it was absolutely insane so I decided to attend Hurricane Festival once again this year. The line-up is incredible and I'm so excited for the whole camping thing as well as I'm going with one of my closest friends.

I think packing for a festival is quite challenging because you can't take too much with you, yet you should take enough for every emergency and weather. I'm going to share 3 packing lists (camping gear, body hygiene and clothes) with you guys so you can check if you have everything :) I'm going to start with the general camping gear that you'll need for an amazing festival weekend.

1. Tickets
This, obviously, is one of the most important things to pack. I recommend to put it somewhere where you can find it quickly and nobody can steal it.

2. Tent
Make sure you have a good tent that doesn't let any water in. You don't want to sleep in a puddle when it's raining. You should also bring a lock with you to lock your tent at night or when you're away so the risk of somebody stealing your stuff is lower.

3. Sleeping Bag
A sleeping bag will keep you warm at night and is a lot handier than a blanket. If you don't want to bring a sleeping pad it will keep you from sleeping on the floor as well. You might want to take a pillow with you as well so your nights will be more comfortable.

4. Mobile Phone
You definitely should take an old mobile phone with you that won't run out of battery (like an old Nokia) to call your friends if you can't find them. Make sure you always have it with you to be able to call someone at all times. Obviously, you can take your smartphone with you as well (for social media) but you definitely should have an old phone for calling someone.

5. Flashlight
If it's dark and you have to go to the toilet or you want to find your tent, a flashlight is essential.

6. Cash
Always take some money with you for food etc.. It is better to have cash and to leave your credit card at home since you can't pay a lot of things with your credit card anyway and it might get stolen as well. Make sure to not have your money in only one pocket but split it into several pockets and never leave it in your tent.

7. Food/Drinks
This year, Hurricane Festival has a grocery store at the campsite so we won't take too much food with us. But it's important to drink and eat enough because you're going to be outside (hopefully in the sun) all day.

8. Duct Tape
Duct Tape fixes everything. Seriously.
You should have scissors to cut it as well.

9. Flag/Something to mark your tent
If you don't have an orienting response (like me) you might want to mark your tent with a flag, a bunting or with something written on it. This is also quite handy if someone has the exact same tent as you.

10. ID
You should always have your ID with you since you might get controlled at some point. If you're over 16 you have to have your ID with you at all times (at least in Germany) anyway so you should take it everywhere you go and not leave it in the tent either.

11. Camera
I am going to take an old digital camera with me to take photos for myself and for my blog.
Photos are such a good memory and you can capture your favourite moments of the festival :)

Are you going to attend a festival this year?
What camping gear are you going to take with you?

Breakfast Sunday #3

Today I'm going to share a really easy and healthy breakfast idea with you.
Since it is really hot in Germany right now, I prefer drinking a smoothie to actually eating breakfast because I think that smoothies are refreshing and they make you quite full as well.
I saw this recipe the other day and I just needed to try it because it sounds so delicious!

What you need:

- 1 Apple
- 1 Banana
- 5 Raw Almonds
- 3/4 Cup Nonfat Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 Cup Nonfat Milk
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Now, you just need to blend it all together and your smoothie is ready :)
Since I only have an immersion blender I chopped everything up so it's easier to blend.

I absolutely love this smoothie and I think it just tastes so delicious!

Have you ever tried this smoothie?
Do you like it?

Lots of Love,

Labello Lip Butter | Review

Once again, I'm late to the bandwagon but I finally got to try the Labello Lip Butters!
I got them in two 'flavours': Raspberry Rosé and Vanilla & Macadamia.
They are seriously so good and I can totally understand the hype around them.

The Raspberry Rosé one is my personal favourite at the moment.
I seriously take it everywhere and use it to death! Since it is so small you can fit it in your makeup bag without a problem. The smell of it is amazing and it lasts such a long time on the lips as well.

Although I have been using the Raspberry Rosé lip butter a lot more than the Vanilla & Macadamia one I still think that this is amazing as well. Again, it smells so good and it lasts just as long on the lips as the other one. I think the smell of this is a little bit more sophisticated than the other, really sweet one.

All in all, I think that these lip butters are really great since they last such a long time and they leave your lips feeling so soft and nourished. The consistency is amazing as well and you literally only need a tiny bit of the product to make your lips feel gorgeous!
I can't recommend this product enough because it's just so great and not too expensive either :)

Have you ever tried this product?
What do you think?
Let me know in the comments down below :)

Lots of Love,
